The Seven Chakras

 

1.  Muladhara Chakra – base of spine (red)

physical and emotional grounding – involved in tending to our survival needs – base of spine, legs, feet and large intestine

 

 

 

2.  Svadisthana Chakra – pelvis (orange)

adaptability and receptivity – hips, sacrum, lower back, genitals, womb, bladder and kidneys

 

 

 

3. Manipura Chakra – solar plexus (yellow)

self-esteem, risk taking, assessing our will and assuming responsibility for our life – core digestive system and metabolism

 

 

 

4. Anahata Chakra – heart (green)

harmony and inner peace, balance point – heart, upper chest and upper back

 

 

 

5. Visuddha Chakra – throat (turquoise)

resonates with our inner truth and helps us find a personal way to convey our voice to the world – neck, throat, jaw and mouth

 

 

 

6. Ajna Chakra – the perception and command center (indigo blue)

helps us see beyond the physical world through clairvoyance, telepathy, intuition, dreaming, imagination and visualization – just above the physical eyes, creating the spiritual third eye

 

 

 

7. Sahasrara Chakra – crown of the head (white)

direct connection with the divine
